Digital footprint

Today, in class Earth, we have been thinking about our 'Digital Footprint'. We have discovered that the things we put online can be seen by lots of people and might stay there online forever. They are like digital footprints - a trail that people can follow, picking up pieced of information about us. We all leave digital footprints and with every new profile, photo or comment we add new ones. People that you know, and people that you don't can learn a lot from them.

This video from Horrible Histories explains the consequences of not thinking about our Digital Footprint.

  8. Think twice before you post anything online. If someone posts anything uncomfortable, report it immediately. Don't post anything if you know you'll be embarrassed by your teacher, parents or headteacher.
