The Big Question - Who made the Victorians healthier?

Which person had the most impact on Victorian public health?

Joseph Lister?
Joseph Bazalgette?
Florence Nightingale?
Louis Pasteur?
Dr John Snow?

This week we started our projects. We are going to work in groups to showcase the work of one of the above Victorians, showing the impact that they had on Victorian public health.

I am going to do a model of Florence Nightingale, with a small grave stone made out of Mod Roc saying who she was, what she did and how she died.

Joseph

I am going to do a puppet show of Dr John Snow
with 5 or so puppets of John snow and victims talking to them. I will write a script that will tell the audience about his important discovery.

It was the turn of Joseph Lister this week. We researched on the internet and in texts. We found out that he is known as 'The Father of Antiseptic Surgery'.

Who.......do you think had the most impact?
Why.........................................?  Explain.
